If you had the chance to put forward a trade for your favorite NBA team then what would you put forward to the owner?

As a SIXERS fan I always have an eye on which players are available that could help us get to the finals, at least. So here’s an idea that IMO will please other SIXERS fans and finally give us that edge that we still really need. Oh, and it gets the Paul GEORGE contract off our hands .

The players –

Acquiring 2 NBA vets in Khris MIDDLETON and CJ McCOLLOM on expiring contracts will give the SIXERS a chance to see if bringing in vet help during this summer’s upcoming, and talent heavy trade period, is what Philly needs to make a run to the finals whilst Joel EMBIID can still stand ( he’s got 3 years left of a max contract !

Khris MIDDLETON could replace Paul GEORGE in the starting lineup and tbh provide the SIXERS with the clutch play that only MAXEY can really provide right now. Swapping the underrated OUBRE with MCCOLLOM will give the bench a real spark and during the postseason his experience and scoring could see him starting alongside MAXEY in place of MCCAIN/EDGECOMBE. DRUMMOND and his expiring contract is just a sweetener as his productivity has dipped alarmingly.

Draft assets cost –

To acquire the WIZARDS pair ( and their precious expiring contracts ) would, I believe, cost the SIXERS 2 future 1sts which sounds like a lot for 2 aging ballers but the SIXERS should be looking to be postseason guarantees and even after these trades they’ll be left with a ’29 first and 7 x second rnd picks over ’28 and ’29 which could be consolidated in any future trades or even draft night deals.
